From the pulp

Citrus Drink
Cacao pulp with citrus: sharp, light and very cold. It surprises anyone who assumes everything that comes from cacao has to taste of chocolate.
From the pulp
Cold, thick and tasting of real cacao. It is blended on the spot and drunk right there: there is no way to keep it or to send it.
How to get it Made fresh, at the stall

What it is, what makes it different and who we make it for, in a few words.
A thick, cold milkshake that brings together fresh cacao pulp, milk and our own chocolate. It is made on the spot, right in front of you.
The pulp adds a gentle, fruity tang that balances the sweetness of the milk, while the chocolate brings the deep flavour of real cacao. The result is a creamy, refreshing drink that is very different from a regular milkshake: you taste the fruit of the cacao, not just the chocolate. It is served ice-cold in a 12 oz cup, with no colourings or flavourings.
It is a drink to enjoy there and then, at the farmers’ market or at the fairs where we have a stall. It is ideal for a hot afternoon, or for anyone who wants to try cacao in a different way. It can’t be kept or shipped, because the whole point is to drink it freshly made — so it’s the perfect excuse to come and say hello.
Four ingredients and nothing to pad it out: cacao pulp, milk, ice and our own cocoa powder.
It’s made right in front of you and in your hand in under five minutes.
From a pod opened that same day, so it reaches the glass fresh.
A couple of minutes in the blender, until the foam holds on its own.
What people usually ask when they first spot it on the counter.
Better not. It is meant to be drunk within the first few minutes: fresh pulp changes quickly and the foam goes flat.
No. The pulp in the milkshake is fresh and never ferments; alcohol only comes into the wine.
Not for now: the recipe needs milk to turn out thick. If you avoid dairy, ask us about the Citrus Drink, which is made with cacao pulp too.

Thick and full of chocolate flavour. My kids ask us to bring it every time we go into town.

Tasty and very creamy, although for my taste it is a little too sweet. My kids loved it, so at home I am outvoted.

From the bean

Artisanal yoghurt with cacao nibs in it, so you drink it and chew it at the same time. It is kept cold and does not last long: that is why it is made in batches and there is not always any left.
